Sunflower Seedlings Preschool will be leading a process-based art project at the Beacon Food Forest Work Party! Around noon, I’ll set up in our Children’s Garden, where kids will be invited to help paint a mural on weatherproof canvas.

We’ll be using fabric paint, which is non-toxic but not washable, so please dress children in clothes that can get messy. I have a limited number of smocks available, but bringing an extra layer you don’t mind getting paint on is a good idea.

Once completed, this mural will be displayed in our garden space as a reminder of community, connection, and creativity—values that are at the heart of Sunflower Seedlings Preschool and beautifully align with those of the Beacon Food Forest.
