Little explorers, ages 2.5 to 5, set out on daily outdoor adventures where nature is our classroom, and every day brings new discoveries. We might splash in puddles, build forts and search for tiny critters.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 1 PM -

Sunflower Seedlings Preschool is proud to partner with Seattle Parks and Recreation after being awarded the RFP for outdoor preschool programming. This partnership allows us to bring our nature-based learning experiences to the beautiful public spaces of Seattle, creating more opportunities for children to explore, play, and connect with the natural world.

"Our kiddo's time in the Sunflower Seedlings program has been truly wonderful for our family to experience! Every aspect of the 4-hour day is thoughtfully grounded in a respect for nature, kindness and empathy for others, and providing opportunity for early math, literacy, and science concepts—all while giving space for children to learn through play. Rain or shine, we are confident in knowing each day will provide our child with opportunities to learn, play, and grow. Teacher Kayla is creative, supportive, and curates a weekly curriculum that is responsive to the class (and even drop ins!).
